DEMOCRACY AT 14 WHERE IS THE FAITH, WHERE IS THE HOPE AND WHERE
IS THE LOVE
If you have filliped through the pages, of the two major
religious books, you will see that the three words hope, faith and love are
always emphasized.
Today as my dearest country celebrate her 14th year, of the
government of the people by the people and for the people, where are we what
have we archived. I have some little question I will like to ask
1 Is the history of democracy what celebrating in Nigeria?
2 is this what they call democracy? Because
Democracy is a form of government in which all eligible
citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Democracy
allows eligible citizens to participate equally—either directly or through
elected representatives—in the proposal, development, and creation of laws. It encompasses
social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal
practice of political self-determination
3 is this what our heroes of independent dream for us?
Some days back I was about landing in the Addis Abba
international airport in Ethiopia when I was looking though the flight window
to check the view of the city can’t imagine the well planed the city was where everywhere

out when will Nigeria be like this my co passenger city just in front of me
said as if I knew what he was thinking about. Same in Dubai you will think you
are in heaven apologies that why some
white man never believe in God, because they have seen beauty just imagine all international flight plan
there rote such that you get to your destination early in the day around 5am
local time so you can join in the business of the day. But nut in nija they
plan there rote to land there around mid-day or afternoon because they can get
to their airport and three will be no light

I was walking in the street of one of the largest city of India
some days back with the verse population of the country everything seems to be
working out every body wait patiently at the motor park or bus stop waiting for the next available
bus every destination as bus with a bus number no noise no agbero like Nigeria
every average Indian which in he will be poor Nigeria may be poor has the basic
NEED OF LIFE a minimum of 22 hours power
supply every day there banks are willing to give loan to the citizen at dispose
every India is well registered unlike my country that our population is boost
by cow and cattle
They have standard car rental service this a country that the manager in company is being paid
around 150000 naira a month but yet the buy the finest of car and live in the glossary
of mansions well it a pit every thing turn out like this my father your father
have spoiled this nation they might not have being part of the corruption all
along but bet it with me how many of
them scarifies for our future the keep tell all us the story of the good old
days but it only in Nigeria we have a glorious past but sorrowful present and
working to have sad future when you are living the international airport in Lagos
the immigration will bid you farewell by saying “ob ninu igbeku aye “ that is
you are freed from the donjon of life not too long ago Indians are slaves in Nigeria
like wishes Ghanaian but

South Africa, to pay large sum of money to obtain a degree. Where is the hope
This are country where Nigerians are once seen as gods today

Nigerians we are sleeping wake up I don’t compare Nigeria
with USA or with England nor with any European giant because we say they here
three for long but what of those people that have once or twice come to us for
help today the cannot even help us because the pain is more than the gain where
is the unity; for a country that war is going on in some part a Country that
the catalyst of national development are neglected it a sorry case. like Nehemiah I pray
